Investigation Basics allows for a good look at what a quality investigation entails in the claims arena. Participants learn the basics of preparing for an investigation; identifying goals and objectives; devising an appropriate line of questioning and more. Participants will learn the various lines of insurance claim investigation and how claims teams use the information gathered to make decisions on compensability, extent of injury and identifying hazardous conditions that may injure others in the future. This course prepares the participant for subsequent courses.
